Jakie's Rolls

1 cup Crisco

1 1/2 teaspoon salt

2 eggs beaten

1 cup warm water

1/2 cup sugar (1 cup for sw. rolls)

1 cup boiling water

2 packages yeast

6 cups flour

                 Combine Crisco, sugar, salt, and boiling water in a large bowl and mix until cool.  While cooling, combine yeast and warm water.  Add eggs and yeast and mix well.  Add 1/2 the flour and mix well then add the remaining flour.         

                 This batter may be made into rolls immediately or it will keep in the refrigerator for a week if covered tightly.  Let rise 1 to 1 1/2 hours before baking at (300°F) for 10 to 15 minutes.
