Macaroni Pie

2 cup macaroni

3/4 sharp cheddar cheese

1/2 stick or more butter

2 beaten eggs

1 or 2 tablespoon dry mustard

Evaporated milk

Paprika

                 Cook noodles in 2 quarts boiling water with 1 teaspoon salt.  Grate about 3/4 pound of sharp cheddar cheese.  Drain noodles, place in casserole immediately with 1/2 stick or more butter.

                 Next add 2 beaten and the flavorful secret: 1 or 2 tablespoon dry mustard mixed with a little water if you like.  Add about 3/4 of the cheese plus almost all of a can (small) of evaporated milk.  It will look like to much but it isn’t.  Top with the rest of the cheese;  sprinkle with lots of paprika.  Bake at (350°F) approximately 20 to 30 minutes.  If it cooks until all the milk is absorbed it will be too dry.
