Vicky’s Company Casserole 4 cups noodles (1/2 pound) 1 pound ground chuck 1 cup cottage cheese (1/2 pound) 1/4 cup sour cream 1/3 cup onion, chopped 1 tablespoon margarine 16 ounces can tomato sauce 8 ounces package cream cheese 1 tablespoon minced green pepper 2 tablespoon melted margarine |

Early in the day, cook noodles as package directs, drain. With margarine in skillet, sauté chuck until brown. Drain off fat, and stir in tomato sauce and remove from heat. Combine cottage cheese. Cream cheese, sour cream, onion, and green pepper. In 3 quart greased casserole spread half the noodles; cover with cheese mixture; then cover with rest of noodles. Pour melted margarine over noodles, then tomato-meat sauce. Refrigerate. Hour before serving; heat oven to (375°F) Bake casserole 45 minutes. |
